Purchase with a Purpose Program...

Having just attended the New England Parrot Head Convention in South Portland, Maine (our first PH event ever), the tag line “Party with a Purpose” became very powerfully evident and real to us. As a first time vendor at the convention, we had the opportunity to engage in conversation with many Parrot Head attendees covering a myriad of different topics; but the one topic that showed through as a very prevalent common theme was the charities which the entire Parrot Head membership is so willingly eager to support. It became apparent to us that supporting these PHC’s and the charities that each Club supports will be very near and dear to the hearts of the members.

I have just learned that the weekend event in So. Portland Maine, "Tiki Time on Maine Time" did the fantastic job of raising over $17,000 for 4 different charities in Maine: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine, Maine Special Olympics, Maine Cancer Foundation, and Maine Alzheimer’s Association.
